An open field in lined at one end with a string of wooden targets. Markers are dotted along the grassy earth every twenty feet. Come equipped with a bow and arrows, and practice your shooting skills. Those who are skilled archers may be willing to show beginners the ropes.

Well...I am sick of foul burgers for dinner every night. These creatures can provide ME a speciall meal. Hope no one comes here and interup my hunting session.

*mel some distance away aims at a target and releaces the arow. it sails through the wind with a hiss, passing inbetween wk and eli and hitting the direct middle of the bulseye. mel walks out into the open and over to wk*

Legolas reaches the range silently, setting down his bag and readies himself to shoot. He nods towards the others as he notches his arrow to his bowstring. He shoots diligently at the target, hardly noticing of his company.

i can shoot a rabbit, but i wont. they are too cute to kill.
*see's the tall blond elf that had apeared on the practice cort and smiles to herself. she takes out a arow aims, and shoots. the arrow wisks throught the air and slices down the center of the other arrow*
if u happen to find anything fun to hunt like goblins for instance let me know wk, then i will help u hunt.

Witch King, there is no need to get angry. This young elf has not done anything wrong but propose the same you have to her in a different manner.

I am a firm believer one should not kill more then he can eat, nor hunt for pleasure, and who wants to eat goblin burgers? And Mel you say rabbits are to cute to shoot, what of the baby chicks and baby pigs, that grow into sausage, ham, and chicken breasts? You do eat meat do you not? And while archery is a magnificent skill, it should not be used to show off, but rather as a survival tool. ::She turns to Legolas giving him a light peck on the cheek:: Fox was looking for you earlier by the way. What I meant is that there is no need to hunt either for no reason. Melody's suggestion to shoot goblins and WK's suggestion to shoot rabbits were both very much in the spirit of killing for sport, as niether are here causing any harm. He indicates the targets, then turns back to Lo.I was simply practicing my skills on these defenseless bails of hay when I unwittingly overheard the nature of the conversation and felt the sudden urge to rudely interrupt their discussion. His cheeks flush only a fraction and his eyes brighten at the mention of Fox.Was she, now? He laughs. And I daresay the both of you have voices to match that of the forest itself. I would only hope to have that priviledge of hearing you two sing together once again. |

He nods to himself and steps up to join Lo in shooting again.
She does have a beautiful voice... the very leaves would tremble for more. But don't think I've forgotten how you two used to sing together. You'll do just fine. Besides, he grins you won't be singing for anyone important.
