Grubby grins and takes his arm. It would be a welcome relief to get out of the sun. She starts to hum to herself.

The prince smiles to himself upon hearing Grubby's contented tune. As they walk, he looks over at her shyly, his gaze warm and almost child-like in its wonderment.

Grubby stops humming when she notices the elf looking at her. Her eyes narrow and she looks at him with mock suspicion
what ?
she growls the corners of her mouth twitching, she trys not to laugh.

The prince looks away shyly, a flush creeping onto his cheeks.

Grubby smiles amused
Why would you admire me?
She takes one of his hands in her own tracing a pattern on his palm with her fingertip.

He stops and smiles, watching her finger trace the graceful lines of his palm, contemplating his answer.
Why would I not? How could I not? You positively glow of a warmth I can't describe.

Grubby frowns her brows knitted together in thought
There's a lot you don't know about me elf
she says slowley letting go of his hand to look at her own, turning them over and examining them from he practicaly short claws to her wrists.
I've killed a lot of people with these
she says calmley merely stating a fact, there is no trace of remorse in her voice.

He frowns a bit as well, taking her hand and slowly bringing it to his lips. Releasing his grip, he presses their hands together, palm to palm.
Do you think us to be that different?

She sighs and hangs her head
Yes, an Orc and an Elf you can't get much more different than that
she looks back up at him
but we were one and the same once long ago, if you believe the old stories..
