He frowns, the prince's joke suddenly turned sour.
My dear friend... I did not mean to upset you. I only meant that we would remain as we did. As a group of old friends and not as anything else.

*Shoots Legolas a murderous look not used to being addressed in such a manner.*
For your information Elf, I was going to make a rabbit stew for tonight. We have guests arriving from Harad and I've nothing to give them. And it doesn't look like I'll catch anything now. Your incessant talking as frightened all the rabbits away.
*Stomps off across the field muttering something under his breath about interfering Elves.*

His eyes widen with surprise at the Witch King's outburst... but is soon replaced by guilt. He looks at Lo with a bitter smile.
I suppose I deserve nothing less for interfering with that which is not my business.
He thinks for a moment, then decides he can still make it up to the Witch King.
Lo, I must be going. He bows his head. But please tell Fox that I will indeed be at the Pelen Velka-lim tonight... and I hope to see you there as well.
He nods again and takes up his things to leave.

Legolas slips silently into the forest, arrow notched. After a quarter of an hour, he finds what he is looking for: a pair of large rabbits hopping lazily about. He kneels in wait and draws his bow with almost excrushiating slowness; a rather difficult operation for anyone without experience. He lets fly two arrows in rapid succession and stands again to retrieve his capture. Still guilty with ruining the Witch King's dinner, he readies the rabbits for travel and walks right into Lo at the edge of the forest.
Hello! What are you doing out here?

*mel slightly taken aback by the sudden argument*
i was just bothering wk for fun, its not like i would actually go goblin hunting. i would never do that for sport, when you live in mordor for a few years you learn the importance of choosing your battles.
*the conversation go's on as if mel was forgotten in the shuffle of the argument. she hears the princes coment about the other elves singing, and thinks "well he never heard a sea-elf. we are known for our voices" slightly anoied and hurt for being forgotten, mel walks off to find wk and decides to come back for practice when things quiet down*

His eyes flicker as he spots movement by the archery range. Mel walks off and Legolas feels a second twinge of guilt. "But first thing's first," he thinks. He smiles at Lo and holds up the rabbits.
I'm hoping to make amends. Or at least make that attempt. I did not mean to spoil his dinner. What sort of elf would I be if I deprived another creature from his meal?

[glow=magenta,2,300]::Lo sighs and shakes her head:: I saw Mel slinking off in his general direction I seriously doubt they will be without food. ::Rubbing the delicate bridge of her nose, looking slightly distressed:: Can I ask you a question Legolas? [/glow]

He looks at her for a moment, studying her expression, then places a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Of course you can.

Quite surprised by the question asked, he blinks for a few moments before opening his mouth to answer.
I... I'm not sure. I do find joy being among my people, and my heart soars when I am able to spend time you Fox and being with my father sometimes even has it's--he looks at her curiously. Where are you going with this?

What are you thinking, Lo?
