*trumpet sounds*
I am a Lord Elidor VIIII, the ninth and last of the elusive group of Nazgûls or ringwraiths. The immortal being with the power to destroy things utterly, without mercy. So fear me...respect me!
*tries to look scary*
(Do you think that was too much?? ;D)

Elidor! You do not have the power to destroy things utterly. I've seen you turn a chair into a mushroom and that's about it.
What about me? Well you know what I look like *points to sig pic* ( though I was having a bad hair day) I was once a great and powerful king of men. I was given a ring by Sauron which made my power even greater and brought me much success in battles and greater wealth. It also prolonged my life. But gradually my form began to fade......and I became nothing more then a slave to the One Ring and Sauron.

Vaire Aiste
Well, Arethusa has a strange back ground. Her mother is an ranger/human and her father was an elf. Her father died while saving her and her family from grr, orcs. She was then raised with her fathers family in Mirkwood, while her sisters chose to become rangers.
While in Mirkwood, she was brought up to be an excellent archer and clothes designer. She was taught how to fight by her uncles who happened to be warriors. She started to become interested in clothes designing when she saw one of her cousin's making simple elvin clothes. She learned on how designing worked and everything through lots of research in library's and hands on experience with helping her cousins out with their clothes making for the family. I began to travel with family members- sisters, uncles, cousins and when no one could travel with me, I started to travel on my own. On my 3 trip alone I found myself in Rivendell. I liked it so much I decided to stay for awhile.
So that brings y'all up to date, somewhat.

Imrel Briarthorn, aka Firebird
Appearance: A weatherworn Ranger of fifteen, Firebird nearly always wears a battered blood red tunic and leggings of the same description. Her feet are normally clad in thick, black ankle boots, and she tends to have a heavy grey cloak on for traveling. She has bright aqua grey eyes (shadowed) and pale skin, and somewhat straggled hazel-brown hair that falls about her shoulders. Firebird stands at around five feet.
Weapons: A sword; the hilt is mithril (made by Jack) and the blade is straight, sharp, and of something like ice (made by Camri). Along with a decent sized, strong yew bow, it is kept at her belt. In a quiver of soft tan leather slung over her back are several dozen yew arrows, mostly bronze-headed.
History: Imrel is the child of Meg and Corrin Briarthorn; a female Ranger currently roaming the world, and a native Bree Man. Born in bree, that is where she spent most of her life till the age of eight, when she left to explore the world after her mother. In Bree, her friends were Jayan Meadowgreen (known as Rainbird), Camri, a Wizard (Icebird), and her sister Sarla (Songbird).

Hey, these are great descriptions!
Luthien Tinuviel. (Tinuviel means nightingale) Elven princess of Doriath. The daughter of the Sindar Grey-elf king, Thingol and Melian the Maia. She was their only child. Description: 'Blue was her raiment, but her eyes were as grey as a starlit evening, her mantle was sewn with golden flowers, but her hair was dark as the shadows of twilight. In her face was a shining light.' Her home is in the Thousand Caves of Menegroth the woodland kingdom of Beleriand. A place protected from evil by a powerful spell.

seph, did u say anything non lotr in your post? maybe thats y it was deleted. (btw: golum was origonaly of hobbit kind, a man named Sme'agol. he killed his best friend De'agol for the ring on his birthday. the years with the ring turned him into the ugly creacher u now know as Gullom [they called him that because of a noise he made in his throat])

No, rather unpleasantly he was called Gollum because of the nasty, gutteral noises he made.
But hey, I love Gollum!
I can't wait to see the next film to see what he really looks like.

(Yes, he is. He's going to appear a lot, too. Also in the third movie...He looks terrible in some drawings I've seen. Yep, he's cool.)
Jared. Seventh of the Ringwraiths, because he likes the number.
Some have tried guessing his gender. He assures you that he is male. *Glares at all those who ever doubted the fact.*
Looks like a Ringwraith. As in, formless, black-cloaked, hooded, sinister, scary, etc.
Likes swords, daggers, knives, bows, arrows and maces. Spells of sorcerous fire and beckoning are, of course, a Ringwraith's speciality.
Was a Numenorean, but, fortunately or unfortunately, succumbed to the Dark Lord and changed into a Black Numenorean, fleeing his land before the Fall of the Numenoreans. Reformed into one of the Dark Lord Sauron's most feared servants - a Nazgûl, as they were called in the Black Speech of Mordor. Has, from then on, served the Dark Lord. Whether faithfully or unfaithfully, that is for one to draw his or her own conclusions.
(And that about wraps it all up for the most boring of the Ringwraiths. The bit about the Fall of the Numenoreans is true, you'll find it. 3 of the Ringwraiths were Black Easterlings and 3 were Black Numenoreans. As for the other 3....That's for future researching.)

What I want to know is what were their names? The Witch-king must have had a name. I know the wraith who went to the shire looking for Baggins was called Khamul - 2nd in command I believe. But as yet I've found no other names.
