*turns back abruptly, facing the other two.* look, it's my fault rudi's lost, so maybe you should both turn back. *proceeds to removing a coil of rope from her pack.* i can handle it, and i wouldn't want anyone else getting lost on my account. i have a map and am familiar with the land... so if it comes to the bit, i could just catch you up at rivendell. *ties one end of the rope into her belt.*

[Arwen]

It's not your fault Firebird. It was just an accident. And there's no way we're going to leave you in Trollshaws, alone.

*Is speaking in hushed tones*

But , you know Rudi better than anyone. If you want to go ahead to try and catch him we'll hold back a little.

[Rhiannon]

*Still waiting at the bridge, getting a little nervous* THey are off into a dangerous direction.....*Looks over to Gwendolin.* There are only two sensible choices. Either ride on to Rivendell and warn everybody on our way that there is an Uruk-Hai army approaching or to try and find the others as long as their tracks are still visible. So that we're all together again. What do you think?

*secures the other end of the rope to a tree trunk, just above a notch.* i really don't want ot hold anyone back... well, stay if you really think it nessicary, but shouldn't we find out what rhia and gwen plan to do? i think someone at least should get a move on to rivendell, warn of the attack.

[Arwen]

*Stands for a moment undecided*

I really don't want to leave you here Firebird but we have to think whats best for the whole party.
The most important thing is that we get to Rivendell as soon as possible.

*Looks out through a gap in the trees and can see nothing but swirling white.*

This blizzard may severally hamper are chances. We really need to keep ahead of it.

*Worries that they may already have lost the others as visibility is so poor.*

Firebird, you may have to leave Rudi here and hope he finds his own way to Rivendell.

[Vaire Aiste]

*she sighs worriedly*Well...we don't know how far away we are from the others*looks down to snowtop to see if he can sense if they are near*...*the horse looks up to her hopefully*Well,snowtop seems to think they headed that a-way*she points to a far away troll forest*I don't know though...*looks down to her horse again who seems to think they should just make their way to Rivendell for some reason....*Well,I think we'd be safer heading to Rivendell,but I don't know about the others...*she looks again to where her horse suggested they were*I suppose we can TRY to find them,but I think they may ne smart enough to find their way to Rivendell without us.But if you want to go find them Snowtop can help quite a bit.He's used to seeing and sniffing what he can out in this weather,he loves it...what do you think?

[Aragorn]

*Hops hop of Arwen's horse*I'll search for Rudi,the rest of y'all can go to Rivendell.I'll return when I can *sets out*

*loses sight of him through the snow.*

Curses him under her breath. Why must he be so stubborn?

Don't worry Firebird, Aragorn will find him.

*Holds out her hand*

Please, get on the back of Asfaloth. Let's try and find the others before it's too late.

Their traces are almost gone in the snow....Let's wait a little longer. If we try to find them, there's a high risk that we get even more seperated. Fifteen minutes, then we leave a note here and ride on.

Alright*she says trying to put a smile on in the freezing temperature*

"I have to get going.In god condition or bad."*Gets up and puts on overcoat.Feels something heavy in pocket.Pulls out a cream.*"Whats this?I ask." "It's a cream."He says,"It's for all your wounds." "Oh."I reply and put it back in my pocket.I start out the door when he finally says*,"Where are you going? I could take you where you need to get to. I have two full-grown horses.They go really fine."he says.*I stop happily.*"Er I need a ride to Rivendell." "Rivendall!?!The Prancing Pony is as far as I can take you."He says."Okay.It's settled then."*He takes me to a barn out back.Occasionally swooping down to throw some snow into the air.There in the barn are two horses.He gets onto the one that's black and has a white cresent on it's forehead.*"Moon,I call her.[he runs his fingers through her mane.]You can take ChestNut."*He points to a hazel colored one.I mount this one."Let's go!" He yells happily going full spedd.I chase after him on my horse...*

Meanwhile back at Trollshaws...............

So Firebird, what's it to be?

*sighs.* arwen, please, you go. it's still the outskirts of the forest so you probably won't have trouble getting out. go ahead with rhia and gwen, will you? i'm sorry if i'm being difficult, but rudi is my friend as well as my horse, and my responsibility. *gives a small smile, tugging at the rope to make sure it will hold.* and besides, despite what aragorn may think, i might have to save his neck. *heads into the woods after him. the rope would lead her back to the edge should she run into danger.*

[Arwen]

*Is left alone in the forest. Turns Asfaloth round and rides out,  grimfaced that the group has been broken up.
The bitter wind hits her as leaves the shelter of the trees, buffeting them sideways and howling around her ears. Can only see a few feet in front of her, everything is whited-out. Decides to head back to the bridge hoping the others will still be there. Follows Asfaloth's old tracks,  still just visible in the snow.*

*smiles as her horse puts her head up looking out towards where he thinks the others went*Rhia,someone's coming back,or so Snowtop thinks*awhile later a horse with Arwen on it comes back to the bridge*Why,hello!Where;s the others?*she looks around ini confusement*
