*One of Aragorn's knives hits Bert in the shoulder making him wince. He snarls seeing his assailant nearby. Charges towards Aragorn, raising his giant hammer above his head and smashing it into the ground, crushing a tree in the process.*

*The hammer skims his face making him bleed slightly but otherwise is fun.Jumps on its back and claimbs up it(I am assuming it's big).Takes out his bow and shoots an arrow right down it's throaght.Jumps off*

*they skid out of the forest and right into the blizzard.* ach, it's cold... *huddles in her traveling cloak, which the ice cold wind tears at as she mounts rudi.* aragorn, you haven't a horse; need a lift? *squints through the flury of snow.* the others will be ahead, but we should be able to at least catch them in rivendell. *has to shout over the rage of the snowstorm.*

*Although they made good progress, regarding the blizzard, the group still hasn't reached the Bruinen ford as the night falls. Turns around to the others* I think we should keep moving. It can't be far and we don't have a shelter anyway.

*aragorn and firebird, on rudi, have progressed from the forest. it was somewhat difficult to follow the tracks of the others in the rapidly falling snow, but now the blizzard has thickened and it's near impossible to track anything. firebird strains for a sign of the horses; arian's light print, asfaloth's heavier, or snowtop's...* any idea where we are? *is aware that it's gotten late, even though the dark sky is barely visable through the blizzard.*
