*Is trudging through the murk when Asfaloth suddenly whinnies. It is quickly answered by another horse, somewhere directly ahead. It must be Rhiannon and Gwen!
See's grey shapes looming through the blizzard, and the faint outline of the bridge. It's them.
I lost them in the woods!
*Shouts above the noise of the wind*
They've both gone after Rudi. I couldn't stop them.
* Asfaloth refuses to stand still, trying to turn his hindquarters into the blizzard.*
Do we make for Rivendell?

*in the dead of the forest, fireburn makes her way on, having caught no sign of aragorn or rudi as of yet. gets tangled in branches, brush, and the rope which she is fastened to... at least it's long enough that she should be able to reach the heart of the wood. hopes suddenly that they haven't gone that far. would call out for aragorn but her throat is somewhat stuck; plus she doesn't wish to summon anything unfriendly.*

*Continues through the woods looking for Rudi.Hears a crackle and looks back,far back in the woods he can see Firebird caught.Runs back there.When he gets there he helps Firebird out and then runs back to the path he was following with horse tracks*

*sighs* I know Firebird. She will never leave Rudi alone. Plus, Aragorn is with her. We will never find their traces in this blizzard. I think we should ride on. Whats your opinion?

*keeps her voice down.* aragorn, wait for me would you... *catches him up.* thanks for untangling me, anyway. *brushes away some undergrowth to reveal faint hoofprints where it appeared to be a dead end. carries on after the trail, ducking and dodging branches.*

*Continues going on following the tracks.Starts to go at a faster pace noticing that the tracks are fresher than before*The tracks are pretty fresh.It seems that she had just past here 5 minutes ago. *keeps going on*

*jogs to keep up. suddenly stops, hearing something up ahead in a clearing. throws out an arm to halt aragorn, putting a finger to her lips. the being in front of them is rustling around indistincly, and alomost clumsily. calls out tentively;*
rudi? here boy...
*the rustling ceases abruptly and next thing, the beige colt is rushing out to meet them, trampling the brush in his panick. firebird goes foreward gratefully, quickly pulling him on by the shoulders.* s'all right, boy, steady... *tugs the rope fastened to her belt; it's still quite slack.* c'mon, aragorn, we're not too far from the edge... if we follow the rope back we could probably then be able to follow the others' tracks. *starts to make her way back, rudi peacefully at her side.*

Rudi suddenly shoots forward and Firebird nearly lets go of him again. His ears are pinned back as though hearing something from behind. His muscles are tensed, ready to sprint away from danger.
Then they hear a crashing sound. Something large and heavy is smashing it's way through the undergrowth towards them. They feel the vibration of it's giant steps beneath their feet and fear that it can only be one thing......one of the Huggin's Trolls who lives in
Trollshaws.
Hello?
*A deep booming voice can be heard some distance away*

*whispers*We need to get out of here. *starts to run at a sprint noticing Firebird get on Rudi and go farther ahead to get away*I'll catch up with you all later,I have buiseness to finish here *stops and walks in the oposite direction towards the troll knowing what he is........*

I think this weather poses a serious threat to our safety. We should try to get to Rivendell. There is little chance of finding the others, even if we try.

(for a stout horse, he's actually quite agile.) swiftly draws her bow and grips an arrow ready to fit to it.*
