Forgive me but I cannot. I swore to my mother that I would not avenge the loss of my brother. My mother and sisters could not bear to lose another family member.I feel I must protect them against this growing evil. *He speaks in lowered tones* And though it pains me to say it I feel we are powerless against such evil. It is too great to fight. *He nods to them both before walking away*

A last look into the elf's tormented eyes.*I wish you well. May your soul find peace... If you want to help us, though, sent notes to your people that we'll need more warriors to start our mission. We'll be waiting here some more days and leave a notice when we're departing.

*Watches the elf leave and feels great sorrow for his loss. Unfortunately his story has placed apprehension in her heart and the thought of venturing into the wild lands, especially with the weather so bad, fills her with dread. Rhiannon, do you have a plan at this stage? How long do we wait here? *Fetches a map from one of her pockets and spreads it across the table, bringing a candle nearer for more light.* If it is our intention to ride to Angmar, then why not go via Rivendell. It is a route we both know well and I must confess I do not wish to ride strange routes in such a poor climate. Also we may gather more help from Rivendell.

*Takes a look at the map.* Hmm, 300 miles from Bree to Rivendell. Or 300 miles from Bree into the heart of Angmar. But I think your's is a good idea.*Takes another look around the room.* And if I take a look at the guests here, our chances to get more warriors are higher in Rivendell. And since we have no clues yet where the Elven King's army vanished, we might as well enter Angmar by riding from Rivendell along the Misty Mountains.

*bursts in in a right state, drenched from the rain and on the verge of tears. goes directly to the innkeeper.* oh butterbur, butterbur, a most treacherous journey i have had... *falls into his arms and he pats her on the back before steering her in the direction of rhia and arwen. she recovers herself and turns to them.* rhiannon! i got your note and came as soon as i could, but not on horseback or i would have been sooner. and arwen! if i may join you... *removes her cloak as butterbur returns to the counter, and sits at the same table as the othes.* pray tell me what has happened. and understand that i am entirely willing to contribute to the cause and follow wherever you two go.

Good to see you here! *Takes a closer look, sees Firebird is soaked and still shivering.* But before you tell us anything about your journey, you need a hot bath and dry clothes. *Goes over to the innkeeper* Mr. Butterbur, would you be so kind to get a tub and a hot meal ready for my friend over there?

*I put on a heavy coat and walk outside to the Town Square.I look at the news and see a ton piece of paper.I read what I can of the destroyed paper.I then walk back to my cabin.I take off the coat and start searching my attic.Alas!I find my bow and arrow and my father's,Curtis, sword and sheath.I take the sheath and wrap it around my waist and I take the bow and hang it upon my arm while tying the bow pack to my back.I then place the sword in the sheath. I pull from my pocket the paper. We need.[tear]travel[tear]Angmar.[huge tear]skilled warriors
I travel through the snow going north to Bree...*

*hugs Firebird* It's great to see you! ;D I'm glad you made it here safely. It must have been quite some journey, you look exhausted. * Regards Firebird with concern* But then we are all weary tonight. I think we should get some rest now and aim to leave here at first light. *Bids her companions goodnight and climbs the wooden stairs to the rooms above.*
