Grubby started to count on her fingers

she laughed
nah in Mordor we have proper fights, there's more alcohol, more people and sharper weapons
she rubbed her head

Imrel looked back at her through widened eyes (and it took quite a bit to widen Im's eyes these days). 'Sheesh. Factoring that in, I really and truly have no clue how you've stayed alive so long.' She grinned bemusedly. 'Survival of the fittest, perhaps- or just those with sheer luck.'

luck probably.. hardly seems right though..
She looked down and wrung her hands.
I've known plenty more deserving of it, outlived all of 'em.
She shook her head as if to rid herself of that thought. Must've taken a worse knock to the head than she'd thought.
Wouldn't do to be getting soft now would it? Better be getting back I'm sure witchy will have some pointless chore... I mean some worthwhile and altogether point-full er.. challenge for me. D*mn, I might as well go straight to emptying the cesspits now.
Grubby managed to smile weakly, oh yes the Witch kings spies were often around when she said things like that.
(OOC one of the words the spell checker threw up for point-full was painful )

(Heh, sometimes spellcheck almost hits the mark, eh?)
Imrel scratched the back of her neck awkwardly, afraid that she'd made Grubby feel bad. 'Y'know, I for one am glad you've been surviving. Life just wouldn't be as interesting without you!' She tried on her lopsided smile. 'Look, Witchy's around here, somewhere, I'm sure he'll let you know personally if there are any menial- er, meaningful- chores you need to attend to. Hell, wouldn't want to go to work on a hangover, would ya?'

Elv was still leaning at the bar trying to steady her self. Witchy didnt seem much for conversation so she turned away. Looking around the Inn had gotten back to normal other then a few broken chairs and tables. Elv got a glass of water and made her way to the back of the Inn to a table in a rather dark corner.

Gazing about the room idly, Imrel caught sight of Elv making her way to a table with a cup of water. The Ranger nodded to herself. 'I'll get you s'more water, eh Grubby?' She could do with a glassful herself, she thought drearily as she meandered around various unsettled tables and chairs to the bar. 'All right, Elv?' she called out to the elf as she passed her.

Grubby grunted in reply to Im's questions and pulled herself a bit unsteadily to her feet. Looked like business as usual in the pony you'dve never guessed they'd been a fight there except for a few broken chairs and over turned tables. She righted a chair next to elv and slumped in to it.
look at you not a scratch on yer..
She snorted.

Yeah Im, I m fine.
Elv stretched her arm, working the pain out and looked over at Grubby.
Nope, for the most part I can keep from getting punched or kicked. Its just when they get the arms behind the back that I get hurt.

'Ach, nasty.' Imrel had arrived at the unbroken table with a glass of cold water for Grubby and one for herself. She set them down and then grabbed a nearby half-a-chair to sit on. 'These bar flies when they get drunk, I ask you. Send them out with spears and they could probably rival the armies of Rohan...'
