I'm not looking - I don't want to spoil the surprise. ;D
Although I did see an advert on tv the other night for it.
I jumped up and down and waved my knife and fork in the air ( I was having dinner at the time).
I can't wait to go now!

1 week to go!!!!!!WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I got my tickets yesterday ;D for the opening night ;D ;D The premiere was held last night in London. I saw a bit on the news about it. Btw has anyone seen the extended version of The Fellowship of the ring? I brought it yesterday and I have to say it is better then the cinema cut. I understand that they had to edit it as four hours would be too long for most movie goers to sit through but some good scenes were lost. The battlescenes in particular - like the cavetroll in Moria and the Uruk-hai at the end flowed better and it was a shame the Lothlorien scenes were lost. It's worth seeing if you get the chance.

We started watching that in theater class. Being a DVD, it got played on the computer, and the hook up between the computer and TV screen was malfunctioning so we all had to squint to actually see anything... I think we got as far as Bree...
So, one week. Lucky you WK, getting to go on the first night. I'll probably end up going in January... Anyone else have their tickets already?
(Btw, on the subject of cinemas... Nemesis is out tomorrow... Yay!)

I'm probably going during the first week of January, too. But first I have to survive all this Christmas stress, probably spending a good deal of Christmas week on highways...

(And I'm spending most of the prelude to Christmas in finals! Gar, why does it have to be so near the holidays...) Hope you manage to enjoy your Christmas despite the stress, Rhia.

Good luck, Imrel (Thank God I'm out of school....) And yes, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. It's just about how to visit and satisfy two families (mine and my boyfriends) within a few precious Christmas days that happen to live 800km apart ;D

I'm probably going in January too. I don't like crowds. They make noise. And there's a high possibility that someone will pay for my ticket if I go in January anyway...
Good luck to the both of you. Stress and finals both suck.

I saw a 'making of' for the two towers yesterday. It looks really cool. The wargs especially and the battles scenes look pretty amazing. Apparently the Helms deep scene took 4 months of night filming in rain and cold temperatures. It's amazing just how much work went into the films.

LoL, there's a "making of" on Friday. But then... I'd have watched it by then. ;D I got tickets for Thursday.
