A couple of my classmates plan to see it at midnight tonight. Fortunately, they don't have a final to go to tomorrow morning.
I haven't come across any "makings of" here yet, but there are bound to be some in the week following the release.

Actually, TTT is showing right now. It's what they call a "sneak preview", meaning it's one day before the official opening... but I'm busy.
Lucky you, Rhia.

Get to sleep earlier and kill time here. ;D
I don't have any exams today (whoop whoop), so I'm staying home. I probably could've gone to see TTT, but something tells me it would've been tomorrow before I got past the ticket line. 'Sides, I have to study for the tests in my two worst subjects at the end of the week... Doom...
WK, you're gonna tell us how the film was, right?

Three words: Oh. My. God.
It was like, great. I can't describe it. Just terrific, wonderful, and action-packed. Loads and loads of action. Less "touching scenes" than FotR, but there's a lot of fighting going on. Every scene was wonderful, the effects were great, and was that Legolas sliding down the steps on a shield? How cool is that? Gimli was hilarious, Gollum funny and creepy, Orcs and Uruk-Hai all intimidating and scary... and Grima Wormtongue worth despising. ;D
Oh yea. Watch out for the scene where Legolas slides down. It was so cool. One part where there wasn't anything to laugh about was the prepartion for the battle at Helm's Deep - it was sad. And will someone tell me where the reinforcements came from? I forgot.

It was the Elves Elrond organised them.

Yes Rivendell archers they were cool all looked alike.
How cool was it when Aragorn tossed Gimli right in the orc hord on the bridge. I loved that scene.

Gah, I am so jealous...
I saw the Legolas stunt in a trailer, totally cool. And I can't wait to see how the Ents are depicted. And the music score sounds great from the snipets given in the previews...
Anyhoo, you three are so lucky!
