((Lol!I have no clue!I just was copying Rhia's form of walking))
*turns to Firebird and looks at her horse*Well, snowtop likes the cold himself, but,I'm sure it would be smart to find some way to keep our horses warm&safe, although Snowtop probably won't be happy with me taking him out of this cold weather.

perhaps your snowtop can survive, but i'm rather worried bout rudi; he's quite sensitive. *rudi shudders as another cold breeze sweeps by.*

*looks around the back of the cottage and sees a tumbledown building housing three cows. Goes back to the others*
There's a shed around the back. It's not ideal and the horses will have to share with some cows, but it's sheltered and bedded with straw.

thank you, arwen, that's sounds good. *leads rudi and arian there, settles them in a well-bedded corner then comes back.* gwen, i'm going to take snowtop there too, but just so he is safely with the others. i'll let him stay outside, in the sheltered porch. *leads him and asfaloth to the shed too. returns quickly, hands inside her sleeves.*

By the time all four are seated inside the house Aramir has brewed a pot of tea. Passes around hot mugs and biscuits. There is a roaring fire which soon thaws out the coldest fingers. The room is cluttered with personal belongings - books, pictures and ornaments. There is a cloth hanging over the back of a chair. It looks to be expensive material and there is an emblem enblazoned on it: a white blossoming tree under seven stars and a silver crown. Aramir takes a seat next to the fire and begins to stroke the old dog before speaking:
There is a room upstairs. I hope it will be big enough for all four of you. I have plenty of blankets so you won't feel the cold.
* shakes his head as though baffled*
I've never known a winter like it. Not in living memory has the land been gripped by such harsh storms. I just don't understand it.......well I do *he contradicts himself*
I know the reason for this abominable weather
*his eyes narrow as he stares into the flames*

*tears her eyes from the somehow familiar crest on the cloth, and watches aramir.* thank you kindly for your hospitality... would you tell us what you know of the blizzard?

Well........ *He leans forward, closer to them and lowers is voice to a whisper.*
It's unnatural....
*He taps his fingers nervously, somewhat agitated*
Some folk say it's the work of evil...
*A deathly hush fills the room. The only sound is the crackle of the fire. The shifting shadows cast by the flames create dark shapes on the walls. Outside a gust of wind pounds the window and the trees bend wildly against the nightsky.*
It would seem that evil is stirring in these lands again. *His voice is barely audible* The Witch-king, the evil lord of Angmar, this is his doing. There is talk of his ability to make frost or thaw at his will. And his powers are at their greatest during the winter months. *Looks to the travellers* I fear that his icy hand is spreading across this land.

ooc: Thanks for taking care of my horse, Firebird ;D On right foot business. From the Romans on and I think through all of the Middle Age it was considered to bring bad luck if you step over a door step left foot first.
bic: *Sips her tea and lets her eyes wander through the room, trying to read some of the titles on the book shelves. Takes a longer look at all the ornaments and emblems she sees.* So it's really the Witch King himself...

*studies aramir intently then lets her eyes resting on the dancing fire.* frost, snow, blizzards- ice. a pity to see something so terribly beautiful of nature used to wreak havoc...
