In the year 2002 of the Third Age, the fortress city of Minas Ithil ' Tower of the rising moon' was captured after a two year seige by the forces of the Nazgul Witch-king and renamed Minas Morgul 'Tower of the Wraiths'. It was also known as the Tower of Sorcery and the Dead City. It became a haunted an evil place that shone in the night with a ghostly light. By some magical power or fiendish machinery, the upper rooms of it's great tower revolved slowly in constant vigilance.

*Sits at his desk writing by candlelight on a piece of parchment paper. He scribbles furiously, trying to remember the exact details Sauron had relayed to him, trying to word it carefully in a way that wouldn't cause alarm to spread through the ranks.*
Rumours have reached Mordor of a possible uprising in the East. An enemy attack seems imminent. Sources reveal large numbers of Elves and men gathering in the main towns. We must prepare and make ready for any possible assault on our kingdom. It has been brought to my attention that weapon stocks are shamefully low so as of dawn tomorrow all Orcs will report to the armoury for weapon making duties. No excuses.
*Signs the notice and calls a guard, demanding he takes it to the orc quarters for the immediate attention of all.*

******************************************
*The Witch King strides into the Great feasting Hall of Minas Morgul, the stag flung over his shoulder. he looks up proudly at the high ceiling and carved black arches hoping the Elf prince notices. He drops the carcase with a heavy thump on the hearth and calls for some Orcs to light the fire. He looks at Legolas.*
What do you think?

Legolas looks up in silent awe at the architecture of the place, his eyes falling on the high ceilings all the way down to the hearth.
I think this is perfect for the occassion!

Good!
My Orcs will see to the cooking, that should give us plenty of time to send out word and round up some guests.
*He strides off across the Hall, dragging Legolas after him.*
You can bring Elves...I don't object for one night.

The prince raises a hand and shakes his head.
I would have you enjoy it as much as possible, Witch King. I have no guests to bring, I'm afraid. Even if I did, I would not return in time for dinner today nor breakfast tomorrow.
He smiles reassuringly.
Feel free to welcome as many guests as you'd like. I very much enjoy your company.

*The Witch King stops dead in his tracks and turns to face Legolas, momentarily at a loss for words.*

The prince looks back at him with a smile.
Yes, I do.

*No one had ever said that to him before and it took him a moment to regain his composure. He grabbed Legolas firmly by the shoulder.*
Let us make haste! There is much to do.
