Legolas looks up at Elidor in question.
I would the the Dark Lord to more reward predictability when it comes to their... tendencies. Predictable to him, anyway. I wouldn't think it a good thing you know.
He notices a few curious looks and offeres a single word in explaination, unsure himself whether it is the right choice for his statement.
Betrayal?
...or do you mean some other form of unpredictability?

It's not a good thing, you're right Legolas. But the Haradrim are formidable warriors and fierce fighters. They are strong, hardy people and very resilent and their numbers swell are fighting forces considerably.
*Takes a tray of small glasses and pours a small amount of vodka into each of them. *
So it's a risk we're prepared to take. After all......can you really trust anyone?
*pushes the glasses in front of his guests*

Obviously not. Ever wondered why you should always check your food before consuming it?

*Puts down his forkful of food at Shale's words and looks suspiciously at Legolas?*
So how is the rabbit?

That's why being a ringwraith is convenient. We are already dead...
*Lifted the glass of vodka and pour a small quantity of the liquid into her mouth*

Raises an eyebrow at Shale and looks at WK.
It is quite good, actually. Mel is quite the culinary master.
The prince smiles at Mel, who appears to be blushing.

*Sees Legolas eating and assumes the food is alright. Picks up a forkful of rabbit studying it carefully before putting it in his mouth.*
It's alright Shale, it's quite safe.

Legolas frowns to himself at being suspected of poisoning the food and continues eating quietly.

*Takes a sip from his vodka. It burns his throat making him screw his face up in disgust. Hopes the others didn't notice.*
That has quite a kick.

Legolas chuckles silently to himself at the Witch King's expression and takes a glass as well, downing it as if it were a shot. He wrinkles his nose for a moment but otherwise does not react. A few seconds later, the prince opens his eyes and smiles broadly.
That does have quite the kick, doesn't it?

I've had worse...
*The Witch King glares at the Elf disappointed he took it so well.*

The prince sets down his glass and has a bit of meat to settle the burning sensation in his throat. He smiles at the Witch King, interested in his comment.
Have you now? Do you have any labels at hand?

No.
*Scoffs at the Elf's question*
I'm talking of things found in the deepest chambers of Mordor, found only on the feasting table of Sauron himself.
*Thinks to himself that he sounded convincing and tries to change the subject.*
Do you have many rabbits in Mirkwood?

He raises an eyebrow at his answer and even moreso at his question.
I suppose there are. I've never counted.
