(ooc: that wasn't your fault, eli; i was being careful of the rocks, but the fact that you pointed them out to your team did not cause me to be aware of them.)
*with a screech of tires, pulls level with the green car. cannot quite overtake it, but keeps up well. small rocks skitter across the road as the tires zoom across them. fire's hands, in her fingerless driving gloves, grip the wheel tight enough to turn her knuckles white.*

*The Witch-king is mad now  and there is silence in the wraith car as the others dare not speak. Suddenly and without warning swerves violently off the road and into the woods, sending Eli's hotdogs flying on to the floor. They swerve wildly in and out of the dense trees without slowing down. Low branches whack off the bonnet and some become lodged on the windscreen, obscuring the view. Birds and deer flee for their lives as the monstrous noisy vechicle ploughs on through the forest. They leave the Grey Wood and enter the Stonewain Valley.* Elidor! Lean out of the window and see if you can remove that branch. I can't see where I'm going! *Rejoins the road just past the Druadan Forest. The road is deserted.* He He! ;D That short cut paid off. We're well ahead of them now! |

*glances in the rear-view mirror.* hey, where did the wraith car go? *frowns slightly in confusion, but notices that the elves are gaining ground. taps at the accelerater with the sloe of her shoe, beats it down once more, and zooms on.* yee-haa!
*overtakes the green car and speeds on, the druadan forest on their left becoming denser. (though it's hard to tell; at the moment it's more of a green and brown blur than anything.) sees something very small on the road ahead of them as they are about half wy past the woods. something small and black.* i don't believe it!!!
*pounds the steering wheel in frustration, causing it to emit a sharp beep.* the nazgul got ahead! *continyes driving. notices the car can go to sixth gear, so moves it into that and speeds on.*

ooc- Oh Firebird! That sounded so funny! I can't stop laughing  How come the Rangers overtook us? Are cars lighter then theres. We should be going faster? *The road is long and straight and she feels slightly more relaxed in fact she is admiring the vast mountain range on their left and not paying much attention to the race. Starts singing along to the radio.* |

funny? moi? lol, yeah, i drive weird... ;D *leans back in her seat again, and tries to unstiffen her fingers as she drives. pulls a pair of shades from her pocket and puts them, on with a free hand to avoid the sun's glare. (shall we say it's quite-early moring right now?) the rangers are slowly gaining on the wraiths.* |

OOC - Try and be realistic people.
There must be a reason why you suddenly gain speed and over take other cars.

((( Well, that's pretty simple. The cars going faster because I'm making it go faster, and the light-weight of our car helps as well  ... but whatever....)))
*giggles as she turns the music waaaaay up, and she maintains the speed she's add, swerving a bit once in awhile because well, she feels like it. when they reach the Firien Wood and she looks around worrid-ly for how to put the head lights on. she looks down swerving, almost going off the road once in awhile, until she finds it* There we go. See, I don't actually drive IRL yet so I'm not exactly sure about eveeeerything that had to do with the car *she says to Luthien as she giggles nervously*
