The hall is long and wide, with richly carved, golden hued pillars to hold up the lofty roof. Runes interwine with each other on the paved stone floor, and upon the walls hang woven tapestries depicting ancient legends. In the middle of the floor is the hearth of the hall with a bright fire, and in the south end of the hall is a dais with three steps, upon which the throne stands.
