Out of Character:
Girl, you don't know much that's going on behind the scenes.
People who have left had their reasons. They did not leave because the board was boring. Do not attempt to talk about things you do not understand.
If you do not know the meaning of the phrase "13 going on to 9", I am afraid there is not much else I can say for fear of you not understanding my words.
I have never attempted to take power, girl. I do not post much. It will be hard for me to take power. I have always respected the Witch-King, feared my lord. You have never read what I write in my diary. You have never heard me talk of Eriador to those in real life.
Yes, with pride comes a downfall. I experienced mine a short time ago. It was a terrible time for many. But I had never had a moment of pride.
You are probably the most active member on the board right now. Imrel, Elidor and Balin are doing good jobs too. Ausin, hopefully, will post. But that is where the problem lies. There are not enough people to suppress you, to sit on you. You have gotten out of hand. The Nazgûl have been busy and we did not keep as close an eye on what was happening on the board. Perhaps it is now too late.
Eriador is part of my life. I fought to keep it, against the one I feared most. But to see the Ringwraiths' ideal fall to pieces would be as good as diminishing the only flame that keeps my life going. It is time to bring things back to order, back to the days when things were fine.
Ask the older members about the days when the Ringwraiths were more active. When everything was much stricter. Many had fun. We had silly bickers, usually between some Whiteskin and me, but all ended well. You can ask of the days when the Ringwraiths terrorised Elves and spent days cleaning the library. You can ask about the days when Eriador was at its peak.
Things have happened. Many things, most of which you do not understand.
I have always been giving you chances. I have already given you much more than I usually give anyone else. Why? Because the Witch-King told me not to give you a "brutally honest" addressing. He felt that you should be given more chances because you were pretty active.
The Witch-King knows how much you , frankly, piss me off. Perhaps you do not know that I respect a lot of people, a lot of things, a lot of ideals and ideas. I respect Tolkien and his work. I feel that the portrayal of Eowyn should be better. By taking on a character's name, one has the responsibility of bringing the character to life the way he or she should be. Violating that would be showing utter disrespect for the author.
I never wanted to dominate the place. I know that probably the only reason I ever ended up as Global Moderator was because I helped to come up with the idea for this board. Becoming an administrator was unexpected and I think the Witch-King had his reasons for doing that.
You joined Eriador at a time when things were not the way they used to be. Perhaps it is not your fault that you do not understand. But now that you have been told, I suggest that you do not attempt to talk back. I only voice out with solid reasons. Talking back will probably just cost you more.

Jared: Perhaps I did arrive at the wrong time. Of course, I didn't read your diary before; though I also have one of my own which not even my kin knows what lies behind the cover. Perhaps I do not understand somethings yet, though time shall come and we will just have to face what happens. Speaking about your "downfall", let's just hope that history does not repeat itself. By the way, I think I know another way to get new members onto Eriador.
Eowyn goes deeper and deeper into the cave, though Waterwhisp is quite reluctant to follow. "Don't be afraid," she says softly. "Everything will be alright!"
She walks ahead, holding her stallion's ropes when she suddenly hears a big splash. *There must be water here!* she thinks to herself, wondering whether to go further or not. A bunch of bats fly over her, barely two feet above. She looks up at them and sees not the harmless fruit bats; for these were bigger and more dangerous than any other breed the shield maiden saw before.
*Wonder what other evil is hiding here.* She wonders as she goes further into the darkness. The moss on the floor is fairly soft and the rocks on the cave walls are sparkling a queer light, making them look wet yet dry at the same time...

Eowyn continues exploring the cave and suddenly she finds her boot soaking with water and hears a splash. *Water! Oh no.* she thinks to herself, backing away from it; not wishing to take a bath just yet.
*Perhaps I should go back,* she thinks as she looks and begins to figure out which way is the exit, for she made many sharp turns and bends while exploring the dark cave...

After Waterwhisp got quite disoriented and almost stepped on Eowyn's foot three times as well as what seemed like ages, Eowyn came to the exit. The shield maiden held her hand up infront of her eyes to keep the sun out! After getting adjusted, she spotted Balin there, sitting down with his axe.
"Balin! Never knew you'd be here!" she says, happy to see a friendly face. "I'm going of to the Woodelf King, Thranduil to see about the message which I unfortunantly lost. It was a secret scroll which I wasn't allowed to read and now I don't have it anymore." Eowyn adds sadly.
"I'm a bit worried about what will happen, but I guess I must make haste in order to keep things going," she finishes, beginning to climb onto Waterwhisp's back once more...

"Aye, and haste must be made," Eowyn agrees, making sure that everything (save the scroll which she no longer possesed!) that she had was with her. She pulled out a cube of sugar from her pack and gave it to Waterwhisp. The stallion accepted it gratefully and gently licked Eowyn's fingers. She smiled and stroked him mane.
"Balin," Eowyn begins, "I'm sorry to say that I must be leaving now. That scroll needs to be in safe hands, though I myself do not know what lies inside. Will you join me or shall I depart now? Either way, I hope the road won't be too dangerous..."

"I'm glad that your with me. The blade of Rohan's shield maiden shall come to your aid when desired." Eowyn says as Waterwhisp begins running, but not too quickly so that Balin could keep up.
"I just hope that everything will go fine. King Theoden shall not be pleased," Eowyn says to Balin at her side.
