(Original thread created by Balin)
At the end of the Dwarven Hall the floor vanishes and falls away into an unknown depth. The outer door can only reached by a slender bridge of stone, without kerb or rail, that spans the chasm with one curving spring of fifty feet. It was once an ancient defence of the Dwarves against any enemy that might capture the First Hall and the outer passages. Companies can pass across it only in single file.

Oi Balin!
called a rough voice from the shadows
I don't belive you! back again..
it gave an exasperated sigh
don't you know moria belongs to the orcs now? not my tribe.. those filthy little.. thieving gits
it lapsed into a stream of unpleasant sounding curses either aimed at it's own tribe of the moria ones or both. Eventualy the voice had run out of thing to say and a little scratty Orc stepped in to the light of Balin's torch
anyway long time no see.. still alive aren't yer? won't be for long of you keep sitting there..
Grubby grinned at him.

she shook her head
