This is my own Role-Playing board which I have created. People may be of any race and new locations such as Rohan and Numenor are created for people who wish to go to those places. Special things happen over the Holidays and there's always a story thread to be in...

Currently the most active of my boards ;D. Not limited to LOTR as it's a board for the LARP community. All LARP PC races welcome. Has areas for LARP Stuff like equipment building, sewing patterns, recipes etc as well as roleplaying boards. Members can get their favourite realm online there (if at least 4 people of your group join) as well as their own board (when having 50 posts) to build their own world/test ideas for conventions.

The town of Blackwater is a prosperous trade port on the mouth of the river Blackwater. It lies on the south-west coast of the Exton sea and it is has grown over the ages to become the capital kingdom of Blackdowns.
The town itself lies within the shadow of Buckfast castle, the stronghold of King Mordant and the Buckfast line, who have ruled Blackwater for over a century. The castle itself, an immense stone fortification built on the cliffs overlooking the sea, provides a good defensible position against possible attacks from their main enemy, the Dolemeaders.
For the last fifty years the coastal regions have enjoyed relative peace and freedom. The accounts of the destructive raids by the Dolemeaders becoming nothing more then a tale around the hearth fire at night.
But in the last few months their imfamous black ships have been spotted out to sea and at the last full moon the village of Stretcholt was attacked. The villagers fled for their lives, their houses were torched, the crops destroyed and the livestock slain.
The Dolemeaders attack with verocity and brutality, showing no mercy for their victims.

It is a worrying time for Blackwater. Once again, the threat of attack hangs over them.



King Mordant has called for the enrolment of apprentices.
Each apprentice will be trained in the art of arms and weaponry, horsemanship and scribing. A room at the castle and meals will also be provided. Those who excel at their lessons and show unswerving loyalty to their king will be trained in the skill - a magic of the mind, and a secret weapon against the enemies of Blackwater.

Long ago, in a time no one knows for sure, the Shadowlands formed. Given it's name from it's occupants, who lived much of their lives under the veil of darkness. Surrounded by a rocky coast, invasion was never feared, and much of the land remains as it once was; rugged and untamed, though villages have sprouted up and continue to thrive, the old ways are still handed down from parent to child.

There are four basic clans, though it is widely known what strengths and weaknesses of each is, it is merely a way to know and classify the histories and gifts of each. In the advanced age of this hidden society, there are those that can stake claim to all.

The Shadow Clan: The first group to inhabit the Island. They are credited with having stronger powers then most, but at a hidden cost. Most of the Shadow clan are dark skinned and eyed. In Depth History Here

The Light Clan: Arrived not long after the Shadow Clan, they have a lot of healing energy. Most of the Light Clan are fair skinned, and seem to give off a soft glow. In Depth History Here

The Elements Clan: The third clan that came about by the merging of the first two, their powers seemed localized in the Elements, Earth, Thunder, Wind, Wood, Fire, Water, ect. In Depth History Here

The Spirit Clan: A fairly new clan, only a few hundred years old, they are highly in tune with everything. They hold many talents and powers, though the extent isn't really known yet. In Depth History Here
