*He nods fervently and stumbles out the door. Within minutes the pair have hurried out through the common room- Bretha is too distracted to pay heed to the elf and the sheild maiden he was curious about earlier- and out to the stables to fetch their horses.*

Éowyn notices that Rhia and the messenger she was with were heading to the stables and starts wondering what was going on. Quickly finishing her hot chocolate, Éowyn puts on her cloak which was still soaking wet from the rain outside and follows them...

*Leads a protesting Arian out of a cozy stable into the pouring rain* Yes, my girl, we have to leave. Now. *Turns around at the sound of the Inn's closing back door* Eowyn! Er... I'm sorry, I didn't notice you...

"Rhia! What's going on? You seem to be under some pressure..." Éowyn says, quickly saddling a wet and tired Waterwhisp in hopes of going with her friend in time...

*Bretha halts in mounting his bay stallion, Kaden, with his foot in the stirrup as he casts a glance over Eowyn. His eyes, paled by moonlight, dart in Rhiannon's direction.*
A friend of yours?

Éowyn manages to saddle Waterwhisp and tries to drain some of the water out form the still wet cloack she was wearing, but it was without luck.
"I've known Rhia for over a year now, just about ever since when I decided to leave Rohan for a while and have some adventures," Éowyn replies, putting her wet cloak back on again...

Yes, she is a friend, and a very close one, too. *Turns to Eowyn with a tormented look in her eyes* I just got news that a my best friend at home was...murdered. Her father has now asked for my... help...whatever I can do... *Looks away, hoping that the rain will hide her tears. *.... Dear Spirits....what can I do...

*Trying to maintain his passive demeanor as he steadies Kaden, Bretha avoids looking to Rhiannon. The distress that she is trying to hide is unfortunately acting as a catalyst to his own. He can't help but wonder at her query...
*I only wish I knew...
*Shaking this melancholy emotion, he addresses Eowyn briskly.*
I take it then that you will accompany us to Gondor. We ought to take flight now, I understand his Lordship's request was urgeant.
*He digs his heels into his steed, who trudges reluctantly into the rain sodden road.*

"Aye, I am willing to go to Gondor with you," Éowyn replies. "I'm all set when you are."

*He nods resolutely.*
Then we ride now.
*He kicks his steed sharply in the side; Kaden rears up slightly, then bolts off down the track, leading Arian and Waterswhisp on the journey to Gondor.*

"That's what friends are for," Eowyn replies. "One day you may have to do the same for me."

*They ride on and on, south through a rainy and gloomy day. Is too exhausted to even think and lets Brenda lead the way. Starts shivering as the first chill of the evening. As Arian slightly slips on a wet stone, she falls off her horse's back, too numb to even feel herself hitting the ground. ...Sleeeeeep...

Uh? *Feels the familiar shape of her saddle behind her back. A blanket around her body. Feels the heat of a fire nearby. The sounds of its crackle reaches her ears. A little blood in her mouth. Inhales deeply an tries to get her senses into working simultanously again. Opens her eyes.* Bretha? Eowyn? Where are we?
