*Before Jared has finished his sentence the egg begins to crack open.* Look! It's hatching! *They watch with great excitement (well I do anyway :  as the beast inside breaks through the shell. It's beak emerges first then it's head, eyes still shut and then the rest of it's body spills out. Walks towards the new hatchling and peers down at it as it struggles to stand.* Hmmm........................it looks suspiciously like a chicken to me.  |

It'll grow to be just like the other Winged Beasts, Witch-King..... Look at those scales there. And the claws. And the sharp, curved beak. See that neck? Those are the most obvious traits of Winged Beasts.

Those aren't feathers. They're fur. Winged Beasts do have the wings of bats. |

It's feathers look! *Picks the thing up by a leg and stretches out one of it's wings.* It's covered in feathers, It's too small for a winged beast and it's making clucking sounds. *Let's it go.* If anyone thinks they can get away with making fun of the Nazgul they have another thing coming! |

About as useful as toothache!
*Paces up and down the room, still seething. Stops to check the jars on the side that he used on the egg. Double checking that he hadn't made a mistake. Realises that he failed to add any skoi to the mixture. A crucial ingrediant in the developement of winged beasts.
Urk!
*Curses under his breath and hides the jars under some books.*
