*Snatches the tray off her, thinking it looked to good for his guests and starts helping himself to some chicken.*
Yes Elf, sit.

Legolas walks cautiously into the kitchen chamber, a hand behind him as he finds his way to the Witch King's presence. He smiles at Mel and bows to the small company. As he straightens, he speaks calmly to the approaching figure that is WK.
Witch King, I was wondering if I might have a word...?

*Leaps up from the table and draws his sword in the blink of an eye. He slams the elf against the wall, holding his morgul blade against his throat, pressing the cold metal into the skin in no uncertain terms. He shrieks in rage, suddenly menacing and terrible. It was not the first time an enemy had tried to gain access to him, concealing a weapon behind your back was the oldest trick in the book. He had not expected the Elf to show such naeivity. One thing was certain the orcs on guard duty tonight were destined for winged beast food.*

Legolas swallows, the blade biting into his neck with the movement... and without. He looks evenly at the Witch King, not showing any sign of fear even as he is pinned between stone and steel. He brings his hand slowly out from behind him, holding a pair of large rabbits to his side. Thinking it would be further folly, he remains still so as not to provoke the Witch King even more.
I wished to bring you these for your promised rabbit stew, Witch King.

*looks at the rabbits the Prince of Mirkwood is holding up.*
..Oh...
*let's the blade drop and awkwardly sheaths it.*
Well...
*There is a long pause as he struggles to find the right words. Unable to muster an apology he opts for blaming the Elf instead.*
You should know better then to creep around here. This is no place for Elves...
*Takes the rabbits, stroking their soft pelts, noting how plump and juicy they are.*
Are they fresh?

He smiles, noticing the Witch King's hesitation and groping for an apology. He bows his head apologetically instead, uncaring of the trail of blood trickling to the collar of his tunic.
I know. And I ask for you to forgive my rudeness; I only saw it necessary to deliver these as soon as I could so as not to leave your guests hungry. He glances at Mel and smiles, then looks back at the Witch King. And yes, they are fresh; I only caught them a half an hour ago. I came as quickly as I could.
He nods to the company. And if you'll excuse me, I've my own business to attend to tonight.

Wait!
*Lunges at Legolas, grabbing him around the back of the neck, drags him by the hair down some steps off to the left. He pauses for a moment and calls back up the stairs.*
Melian! Start cooking the rabbits!

The prince winces silently at the hand on his neck and in his hair. He manages to look at the Witch King even as he is being dragged down the stairs. He speaks to him in half curiosity and half alarm.
What?

*Calls from the corridor outside the kitchen* Whatever that is smelling so nice, I want it all to myself!
*Sticks her head in and sensed the tension in the air* Erm...so what's up?

Jared! I am shocked! How low of you to desire for such low-class food like elf meat!
