You have my word Elvenstar.
*She looks at the ring and it is obvious that it is no cheap trinket, but solid silver, engraved by a master craftsman and she could only guess at what the red jewel, placed in it's centre, was. It obviously belonged to someone of great power.
She shivered suddenly, sensing that this story unfolding was about to get a lot more serious.

[Elven Star]

Well you remember the other day when we were talking about who I wanted to go to the festival with and I said he might already have a date? Well he did but it didnt stop us from walking around together and talking and just stuff.. Well Last night we were walking and then next thing I know he turned to me and said that He couldnt believe he was walking and talking with a Elf and that it was weird but no unpleasntly (sp?) so.. So then he told me that I made him think of before he was a Ringwraith I ask him if that was a good or bad thing he said bad and told me what he was like when he was a king.. *A tear rolls down her face* He said he wished he had met me  when he was still a man that I could have changed him and that I would have made a great Queen .. Then he said that I was a little late and he was now drawn to the one ring and that alone and he took a chain from around his neck that had a ring on it and pressed it in to my hand and said "This ring was given to me when I was crowned King. It is not a magic ring it holds no power, but it is of great sentimental value to me. I'd like you to have it.
It's all that I can give you......... " then he left.. See but he gave me his jacket to hold because I was cold and I still have it ...

[Arwen]

*Her hand flies to her mouth in total disbelief*

A Ringwraith!

*She hardly dares to utter the word in Rivendell and barely whispers it.

Oh my!

*looks at Vaire and see's that she is sleeping soundly but still speaks in hushed tones.*

Elvenstar, I cannot  believe what you are telling me.
You are mixing with evil. This could be very dangerous for you?
*bits her lip, looking mortified. Sits there shaking her head*
How you even managed to hold a conversation with one of them is beyond me. Most people get nothing but few harsh words and threats.

[Elven Star]

Well I got a great deal more than a conversation and it wasnt just any Ringwraith *her voice goes very low and her words ar almost unheard* it was The Witch King..What danger do you speak of??

[Arwen]

Elvenstar!
*gasps and covers her mouth her hand visibly shaking.*
This cannot be happening.
*She is almost in tears, the worry etched into her face.*
What danger?
*she laughs incredulously*
They are evil, elvenstar. They are dispicable, unearthly beings.
*Her voice rises as she spits out the words*
The kill innocent people, they kill Elves!
*turns to Elvenstar*
You have to stop this, for this goes way beyond any normal relationship.
*looks at her long and hard*
You are betraying your own kind.

[Elven Star]

Dont worry.. I told you he is pulled to the One Ring and that is all he can not have human emotions.. ! *A flash of anger in her eyes and she stands* My own kind?? My own knind?? I was not brought up with elves I have never been around them untill a year ago and the elves are the reason my father is dead so dont you talk to me about betraying my own kind.. I am nothing like any of you elves and for that I have always been outcast from all of you .. So if anyone has been wronged by her own kind it is me!!

[Arwen]

*is a little taken aback by Elvenstar's outburst*

I know you're upset and angry but that's no reason to blame the Elves for your fathers death.
We are peaceful people. We hate war and fighting and we are only defending what is ours. It is the dark forces of Sauron who are truely responsible.
*Stands up*
The very ones of whom you speak so fondly.

[Elven Star]

*Looks at Luthien* Oh I am soo sorry for yelling at you ...  ... *Reaches her hand back to the ring* I only know that just for that time at the festival he seemed almost sad and if he is so bad then why is it that he seemed sad... ?? Oh I just dont know what to do any more...

[Arwen]

*sits down on the bed and sighs heavily trying desperately to understand what Elvenstar is going through*
I do believe you. I think you must have seen a side to him that no one else here has ever seen.
But the whole thing is impossible isn't it. Your an Elf - he's a Ringwraith, sworn enemies. If you were to continue seeing him your own people would disown you and I doubt the Ringwraiths would welcome your presence in the lands. There just seem too many insurmountable barriers.
Why couldn't you have fallen for a nice ranger? It would have been a lot simpler.

[Elven Star]

*laughs* I dont think a Ranger could handle my non stop wanting to go to battle when ever the goodness of Middle-Eart is at war and with a Ringwraith  thatis who I would be going to war against !!! *Smiles* and yes it is impossible not only because of what you have said but because they feel nothing at all, that is why I cant figure out why he gave me his ring.... Oh and I have no people they already disowned me a long time ago what did you think I went from place to place for fun?..

[Arwen]

It sounds like you have had a difficult life. I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through as I have always had the love and support of my mother, Melian and my father, Elwe Singollo. To have no one to turn to and no place to call home is very sad indeed.
*smiles sympathetically*
I believe you are searching for something that you have not yet found. And at the moment you are looking in the wrong place. The Witch king would bring you nothing but misery and heartache I fear, and that is the last thing you need right now.

[Melian]

*walks in the room, and flops on her bed*
i cant beleave the festivals over i bairly had time to enjoy it.

*Looks up* Well I m going to walk around or something...

Do you want me to come with you?
I don't think I can sleep now either.
