*Fob smiles gratefully at Eowyn and Daisy as she sips at the tea Daisy gave her.*
Thanks very much.
*Finished the cup.*
I think I'd best get back to the band now, they're lost without me.
*With a wink and a grin, she heads out into the hall.*
~~~~~~~~
*Temmin, white faced and trying to smile at the Wraiths, places the beater neatly back on the glockenspiel and shuffles back to his violin.
*Alf clears his throat.*
Right... So, Twelve Days of Christmas?
*The band start playing the carol as a defrosted Fob comes out of the kitchen. She quickly goes to the glockenspiel and joins in with the song.*
Eowyn returns from the kitchen with some extra gravy.
"Sorry about being gone for so long. The young hobbit lass was a little frightened, but she should be alright now." Eowyn sits down again and sets the gravy on the table.
*Fob calls over defensively from the glockenspiel.*
I was not frightened!
*Alf stops playing the flute for a moment and nudges Fob.*
Quiet, you.
*Fob shoots him and Look and they both start playing again.*
Well I hope you're alright, Eo, you were out in the cold too.
*Raises the turkey drumstick to her mouth to take another bite, but blanches as she discovers a shred of bat wing attached to it. Puts it down nervously, forcing a smile, and reaches instead for the twiglets.*
"Christmas love," Eowyn giggles as she watches the wraith and the elf deal with the mistle toe. "I'm not joining in yet."
The shield maiden then glances at the bat stuffing on Imrel's plate and decides to take some of the meatballs instead. She puts them on her plate besides the mashed potatoes and drops some more gravy on them.
Get out of my chair Elf! *Looks like he's about to explode and Eowyns comments don't help either. Picks Lo up off the chair and throws her over his shoulder.* Now you're really in trouble!
Eowyn observes the situation in shock, wondering why such a thing would happen on Christmas.
"Have a heart! It's Yuletide Season..." she says, putting down her fork full of meatball.
