The Yule Celebration

*Elv twitched at the mention of her home land.. Her gaze fell on Luthien. She looked for a moment as if she had been struck and she took a deep breath.*

Well, I have no news of Sindylymbe...

*She winced*

The last I saw of the Village half of it was in flames...

*She adverted her eyes from the crowed all together especially Witchy and slid her hand from his. She tried quickly to gather her self.*

But I should imagine by now it has been rebuilt.. And is probably fairly well...

[Luthien]

Forgive me I had no idea..

*Luthien put her glass down and placed a hand across her chest, hating the awkward silence her words and caused. She was at a loss for words.*

[Grubhosh]

Grubby had just about enough tact to stop herself from asking elv what had happened to her villiage and quickley tried to change the subject

er so.. I got another hole in me ear.. see?

she brushed her hair back from her ear showing a good selection of metal hoops, and she lent across the table so the others could see better.

[Legolas Greenleaf]

*Legolas raises an eyebrow, standing to greet Grubby.*

Surely, Grubby, you don't mind our company?

*He smiles and embraces her tightly.*

*The prince watches fondly as Grubby takes a seat. Upon being approached by the Imlandris princess, he gives her a deep, respectful bow. He moves aside to make room for her to take a seat, pulling the chair out for her.*

*Luthien winced as she noticed all the holes in the orcs ears.*

Smiling, she slowly took a long drink from her goblet and thenn looked around the table. Catching Elv's eyes, the Princess smiled.

*Elv forced a smile back to her face, still avoiding Witchy's eyes or his touch.*

I've been well Arwen.. And your self?

Witchy remained silent, quietly chewing over the contents of a bowl of beech nuts. There was something odd going on amongst the elves - some sort of tension between them, but he decided to keep out of it. If they started fighting then so be it - he'd always enjoyed watching elf wrestling anyway.

[Grubhosh]

Grubby grinned at him and turned to Luthien

naw course not. They get this rusty needle an' shove it through your ear and on the top ones you can even hear the cartilidge crunching.

of course she'd never admit that it did hurt to an elf.

*Luthien tried to hide her disgust at the orcs overly detailed description.*

It's surprisingly what lengths some people will go to in the name of vanity.

mm yeh i know some people are even washing themselves and combing their hair

she shook her head sadley, laughing inwardly.

[Aulus corthale]

aulus looked at the tree next to him. "your aim's getting lousy your highness." he jumped down to the ground and landed whit a hard noise on the ground. "greetings friends."

Grubby had just drained her third cup of wine when she saw Aulus

Oi Aulus! come 'ave some wine, hope it ain't poisoned or anything

she looked into her cup worriedly

[glow=green,10,333]*She walks into the Celebration with her head covered by her hood of her cloak she quickl notices Aulus and pulls her hood back and walks up behind him not saying a word to him or any one around him she simply looked at Grubby and put her finger over her lips letting her know not to say any thing about her being behind him* [/glow]

*Elv stood to her feet, she nodded at all the guests.*

I do hate to leave so soon but I will..

*She pulled her hood over her head and made her way in to the woods.*
