Close to the entrance of Moria lies a deep cavern. There is a still pool which gives out an eerie blue glow. Looking down into it's depths it seems bottomless. It is rumoured to contain healing properties but is poisonous to drink.
The roof of the cavern is roughly carved out by stormwaters many ages ago, the pattern of swirling water still clearly visable. Since then huge stalictites have grown to several feet in length. The air is cool, damp and still. The only sound is the steady drip of water which echoes around the cave.

Actually, Eli, we do have hair, just that none can see it unless they put on the One Ring. You really should watch the movie. ;D
Healing properties!? Really? How fascinating. So, if an Orc was badly injured, I could just dump him into the pool and he'll heal?
