The Tower of Amon Sul

[The Witch King]

*Reaches the tower and is pleased to see that most of those inside have been killed by the Uruk-hai crossbows. At his command several of the captains  shoot arrows of fire  into the top of the tower, setting it ablaze.*

Break the door down!

*He can see Aragorn approaching fast and knows he must get his hands on the palantir quickly.
The Uruk-hai manage to smash the oak door down.  
Steps through the splintered wood and disappears up a stairwell.*

[Elven Star]

*Starts to fight through the Uruk-hai to get to the door *

[Arwen]

*She sees that Razhlok has seriously injured one of her Elven companions and runs towards him with her sword drawn, before he can deliver a fatally blow.
Huan is faster however, and sinks his teeth into the uruk-hai's leg, with a vice like grip and shakes him like a rag doll.*

[Melian]

*melody slips throught the orcs un harmed and is aproching the tower fast, she see's it ablase, and runs inside to help any posible servivers*

[Elven Star]

*Elvenstar makes her way through the Uruk-Hai and in to the tower *

*climbs the narrow staircase, stepping over bodies. It is dark, except for the red flicker from the fires blazing on the roof. Enters one of the rooms leading off from the stairs.*

[Aragorn]

*Starts running after the Head Nazgul to stop him from getting to the palantir.Is about 4 feet from him*

[The Witch King]

*Hears Aragorn on the stairs and blasts him with sorcerous fire. The intense heat drives him back.

Manages to get into a room and slams the door behind him. Turning the key in the lock. He then drags a heavy cupboard in front of the door. Moves towards the palantir glowing in the centre of the room.*

[Melian]

*melody scails the side ofthe bilding and hops through the window, just in time, her and the WK are both the same distance from the palantier.  suspence builds as the stand stairing at eachother.  the heat in the room is rising from the fire just above them, smoak begins to fill the room.  in the densce smoke mel quickly darts for the palantier, as her fingers quickly grip it, she begins to snach it away and hides it in her clothes. *

[The Witch King]

*Draws his sword leisurely and moves to block the window.*

Put it back Elf or face the consequences

[Melian]

*aims her crossbow*
id rather face the consiquences

*up agenst the door, she keeps aim with one hand and fumbles with the lock with the other*

*Runs up the stairs * Aragorn are you ok ?

*Puts his sword to the back of her neck.*

Face it you have very little option at this point.
I'm not going to just stand here and wait for you to unlock the door, and theres the slight problem of a heavy cupboard being in the way.

I am not interested in killing you I just want the Palantir. Hand it over and you will be free to go.

[Elven Star]

~Thinking that the floor above the room with the Palantir must be very weak from the fire~ *Runs up the stairs to try to see if she can break through the floor (without getting hurt) coming to the room above and seeing it covered in smoke and fire  trys to get in but not seeing really how weak the floor is she walks in and falls right to the room below takeing some of the fire with her*

ooc: sry for little posting, been busy otherwise lately

bic: *Still prefers fighting on her own feet, so dismounts horse and slaps Arian's back* Run, my girl, I'll get you soon. *watches as her horse runs off into the forests. Sneaks around the tower in the underwood unnoticed and emerges on the other side in the back of some Uruk-Hai who have no time to be surprised.*
